Oceans and rivers are an important but contentious issue in South Asia and the surrounding regions. The South China Sea dispute involves overlapping claims amongst sovereign states as do the concerns on river waters between India and Pakistan, while the water resources of the Brahmaputra river are a potential flashpoint between India and China. A session that navigates the troubled waters of political geography.
