We will be discussing his highly-acclaimed book Amazing Malaysian, which opens the door to more than a 100 Malaysian dishes that can be cooked in your own home with ingredients available at any supermarket. These are healthy, vibrant recipes with dazzling flavours and textures. Try, for example, an authentic satay, an aromatic curry, a laksa, or simply the perfect fluffy coconut rice. The amazing Norman Musa will explain all. He is a regular contributor to magazines and feature pages, has been a guest on Tom Kerridge’s Best Ever Dishes and Sunday Brunch and teaches regularly at cookery schools, such as Leith's School of Food & Wine. Norman was born in a village or kampong near Butterworth on Malaysia’s west coast and originally trained as a quantity surveyor while planning and opening the now famous Ning restaurant in Manchester. Once that took off, he abandoned his day job for the work he loved and went on to win a string of awards. In 2014, he was appointed Kuala Lumpur Food Ambassador to the European Market. For a full, glorious hour, Goldster Inside Story will have Norman to ourselves where you can ask him for any tips about Malaysian gastronomic skills, whether you are a talented expert stirring and sorting ingredients in Norman’s wake or a total beginner, like your Goldster host Humphrey Hawksley.
